I'm trying to sort out an intermitent code 33 problem on my 400 motor

installed in an 81 stepside 4x4

The TPI was installed using all new sensors and a Painless wiring harness.

I bought the truck with the TPI installed and it came with the code 33

issue.

Tonight while reading the codes by shorting out terminal A-B I noticed

that the IAC motor makes a buzzing sound.

Is this normal or could this be part of the problem.

Can any one help with this one? Just trying to figure out if it's normal to hear the IAC Motor clicking when you short out a-b to read the codes.

Yes it's normal
it's the way you set your min idle to
close the iac

I'll do a search and see what info I can find on the code 33.
It looks like some others on this site have had a tough time with this code also.
