Engine: 5.7L Vortec w/ LT4 Hot cam
Transmission: 700r4 transgo shiftkit 2600 stall
Axle/Gears: 3.42 '02 SS 6 spd rear
LT1 TB on TPI intake

please just delete this and send me in the right direction through a pm if this is a repeated post, but i did a search and could not find an answer...

can i use an LT1 throttle body on my TPI? and is it an improvement or is the LT1 a 48mm TB also?... thanks for any help and i apologize if this is an inconvenience for anyone

Stock TB on an LT1 is 48mm also...don't think you would gain anything from doing the swap. We usually go to a 52mm TB...bore out the stocker and what not as the 58 tends to be a bit much unless you have serious head/intake/exhaust work to flow that much.

Also the LT1 throttle cam is completely different (still works)

The bottom vacuum port is missing on LTx TBs and the TPS/IAC connectors are the newer style
