88 IROC 350 TPI buildup

I got an 88 IROC with a tired 350 TPI...time for a rebuild. I plan on removing the engine and trans. 700R4 is gettin a rebuild and a shift kit. My questions lie in the 350 TPI. First off, I want to build up another 350, freshen up the block, bored, fresh crank, pistons etc. Could I take the TPI system and slap it on the other 350? From wat I understand, you need the heads (which are getting re-done). I dont want to butcher up the original numbers-matching block by boring it. And will i need to purchase higher end intake-runners, throttle body, etc to make up for the bore? Also, so I'm prepared, how hard is a 350 TPI removal and rebuild? Appreciate the replies, thanks TGO members.

Boring the original block is the way to go and in no way lowers it value. You don't need to change the intake system (unless you want to).
