Engine: Rebuilt 305 Carb
Transmission: Built 700R4
Axle/Gears: The unfortunate Open Diff, 3.23
oil pressure switch location 305 tpi
on my 85 t/a where is the oil pressure switch located? i need to replace it because of a leak and drop in pressure.

Back of the block, down by the base of the distributor.

on a 85 there are 2 switches 1 for oil preasure 1 for fuel pump relay, the single wire one is for preasure get at it from the top.

You can usually only get it from the top.

I have a 92 RS, if the oil pressure switch was going bad, I would see little or no oil pressure, correct? My oil pressure is always really high, usually around 45-60 psi, so I'm taking a guess that my oil pressure switch is working well?
