Hey I have an 88 Iroc with the L98 that I stroked to a 383 cid stroker. its still got stock heads, stock cam and stock T.P.I intake on it. I really want to use the Weiand Stealth Ram Vortec intake manifold just cause I like it and its gonna do exactly what i want, I just dont know what heads to use with it and what injector size I should go with, or camshaft to... I dont think the zz4 cause it wont be big enough for the 383 but maybe the zz9? and then I need a small cap distributor so what should I get for that? im lookin for a mean street machine to cap out at around 450hp and ill be happy. and a torque convertor for a Hydra-Matic 700-R4 4 speed automatic? and flywheel to while im at it... long list I need opinion and help sortin through some ****.. much appreciated..

You only need the Vortec version if you are buying Vortec heads
Any small cap dist from a F-Body or '87- '93 TBI truck will work
Pick cam after you have picked heads

Yup
LT1 is Gen II on account of the reverse coolant flow block and heads but still uses Gen I parts inside block
LSX are Gen III .Nothing fits earlier engines
