That looks very nice. Did you port any of the intake? Plenum? Runners?

Re: my new tpi system

How much for the powder coating and what was included? What runners are those? I am thinking when I do my FI conversion of going with an Edelbrock hi flow setup... (choices are limited, I live in Cali... Emissions have my Ba*** in a Vise..)

Edit: 3/10/10 - 7:24 am PT
I just got a quote from a local shop that does this powder coating, they quoted anywhere from 250-300 dollars, depending on the color... hmmm... I can pick up a new set of headers for 510 from Summitracing, already coated... these would have to be the Edelbrock TES for F-Bodys... DECISIONS, DECISIONS, DECISIONS...

Re: my new tpi system

Crazy prices for powdercoating......

I stopped at my local place (10 min away).....$75 each, to strip the paint off my 2 wheels, powdercoat the centers & backs black, then the polished lip.

$200+ for just that plenum piece? Y'all are getting ripped!

I'd say go with the edelbrock base and the AS&M runners if you gotta keep TPI. They look stock (I mean exactly like the stock ones) and you'll get more flow and power than the edelbrock runners. Plus the base is 50 state legal and with some porting it magically turns into the TPIS bigmouth which isn't CARB approved

that set up looks sweet. did you put that lunati voodoo decal on there or was that included in the coating? also has there been any mods to those runners?
