Difference between Camaro and Firebird?

Im rebuilding my 91 TBI camaro RS to a TPI setup. I bought a wiring harness, ecm, intake and that good stuff from ebay for a good price. my problem is i cant remember what year and model the TPI stuff is from. After all the research ive done using the prom and ecm numbers ive concluded that it is from a 90-91 firebird. Now, that i have installed everything there seems to be some problems the biggest being i have no communication between my ecm and my ALDL connector. I am using a snap-on scanner and know that it is working correctly. I am wondering if there is any difference in wiring between a 91 camaro and a 90-91 firebird? I wouldnt think there would be but i am all out thoughts so any helo would be greatly appreciated!!

Re: Difference between Camaro and Firebird?

At the ALDL connector the '90-'92 TPI uses a different pin then the '88-'92 TBI.

If still using the original ALDL connector move pin E to location M.
