need help with cold start problem/fuel pressure issue

Hey all, i have used the SEARCH and couldn't find an answer to my question.

i have this problem, its been this way for a while.

When i start the car cold it doesn't want to idle, i have to feather the gas just a touch to bring the revs to say 800 rpm and it will idle but it tends to spurt out black stuff from the pipes. When the car is warm i only have to wait maybe a min then i'm good( when warm no black stuff)

Yesterday i went to check the fuel pressure, removed the vac line with the gauge on and it idled perfect (about 50psi no vac) stayed running. when i connect the vac line back up. started to idle rough again and then died. Before it died i saw about 32-35psi with the vac connected.

Also i don't know if this is related but sometimes if say i'm at a stop and floor it, car jumps, practically stalls out and then comes back and goes np. this doesn't happen all the time but often enough.

help would be appreciated

thx.
