Im searching for a cam upgrade and was thinking about the LT4 hotcam since my heads are set up for it already or changing springs and running zz4 cam with my 1.6 rockers..I sent an e mail to comp with my set up and they recomended this cam http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CCA-08-305-8/ .
I would either have to change rockers or springs to run it.
So, should i just go with the LT4 hotcam,go with the one they recommend or try to get a custom grind.Im sure comps is knows more than me,just seems like bang for buck may be the hotcam.Thanks in advance.

They`re actually quite similar at first glance.Whats the benifit of the comp cam?Either way I`m going to have to pay more to buy rocker arms or new springs for the comp and zz4 or I could just buy the LT4 hotcam.

 

Ok guess I`ll go with the hot cam.Seemed like an easy enough choice just was looking for a little feedback from some more knowledgeable members.I`ll try to ask comp what the difference is and why they recommended the other cam.

 

ive had excellent results with my hotcam..... pulls really hard in the 3000 to 4000 range...... much better cam than my previous 2032 powermax cam..... you will like it..... the hotcam would suit your modded tpi well......
