engine misses, no troublecode

To good to be true. I have 7 month old Autozone spark plug wires, 1 year old spark plugs with the proper gap, Bosch III injectors, and new guts inside the dizzy; and my engine misses either in idle or driving. Get this, there is no trouble code. What could be the issue guys? Any advice helps.

Re: engine misses, no troublecode

OBD1 systems are too primitive to set codes for misfire.
the only codes the old systems set are mainly for what are major problems.
my first guess, a bad AZ plug wire. i see them burned out regularly. usually they go bad at the spark plug, but sometimes they do it at the cap.

you can pull them off and use a DVOM to check resistance.
if you find one that seems bad, look inside the boot where the wire conductor comes out of the insulation, that is where they burn out most of the time.

So I should check for the ohms or better yet, continuity right?
