how well would a zz409 work with a superram and ported 083's

Not as well as it would with better heads. If you're going to spend money to work over the stock heads, you'd be well on your way to a set of AFR's or for a little less even a nice set of trickflows or something. Something to think about. What LSA are you thinking about. Is this going on a 350, 383...???

well i think 112 deg. the whole thing isnt set in stone and i dont have a lot of money so probably 350 but if i could afford a crank and pistons by the time im ready to build maybe 383
