TPI runs rough after heating up?
Looking for any help here. Have an '89 305 TPI set-up and runs great till it hits over 200*F then it idles rough, with no check engine light coming on. Have been told possibly the EGR, or maybe IAC idle control. Any thoughts?

Check the coolant temp sensor located just below and to the left of the thermostat. It has one black and one yellow wire going to it. Its common for these to partially fail causing fuel delivery to go south. Check it with an ohmmeter. At 70 degrees it should read 3,400 ohms. Also, the ignition module is fairly sensitive to heat. Check for igntion misfires when this problem is occurring.
