I see thats EBL. That should work but you can just use your stock ECM and get tunepro rt to tune it.

www.moates.net he has all the stuff you need.

I'll have to look into that, doesn't it basically do the same thing and flash the stock ECM?

Re: I want to run 11's on motor, what else do I need to do?

You have a chip adapter and burn chips and plug them in. Its not really a reflash of the ecm like LS1 stuff.

EBL is common with TBI but i am not familar with it, nor do i know how well it works with TPI based stuff. I'm sure it can cover it tho.

So the ebl is a reflash and tunerpro is a chip burning thing?

A few other questions, will the HSR fit under a stock 92 z28 hood?

May need minor bracing trimming. I had to cut a touch out with my stock hood.

Acutal cutting up the brace or just minor trimming? Like you wouldn't notice? Alittle grinding?

If your going though all that stuff, Upgrade the stock ecm to the 411 OBD2 so you can flash like the LS1 I had my 383 running on the 411 OBD2 ecm and it was night and day differance. Drivability was like a new car. For the record I had a 383 10:3:1 old school TF 190's and the Outdated LPE219 cam. I was running mid 12's with a 2600 Edge converter. 360 something RWHP and 380ish TQ

actual cutting out some spots of the bracing. if done right, you wont really notice it missing. I never had people come up to the car and look at the underside of the hood.

Will mini ram fit with no cutting? Will it work with vortec heads?

Re: I want to run 11's on motor, what else do I need to do?

They do make a miniram for vortec heads i do believe. It is a short intake and easily clears the hood.

If you have new poly bushings for motor mounts, HSR will rub on the hood where it meets the TB. It did on my Irocz. Before the poly mounts on stock bushings, it only hit on one spot so I cut that small 3"x3" square piece out. I dont know why everyone is so upset at cutting the underhood bracing, theres not much to cut and you dont really notice it. It doesnt hurt the structure of a steel hood.

It doesn't bother me cutting it, I just don't like the idea of cutting my orig hood. I've found pics And it's not a big cut.

What's the part number for the vortec stealth ram without all the computer stuff. Just the stuff I need.

I do need the fuel rail correct? What fuel pressure regulator should I get?

Re: I want to run 11's on motor, what else do I need to do?

Ramjet is an ok intake as well. Smaller plenum tho, some say that makes alittle difference in throttle response but with good AE tuning it shouldnt matter.

Proflo XT is also available in vortec i believe. Not a bad intake either. All about the same with HSR intakes.

7542 is right vortec stealth ram. NEed the vortec stealth ram fuel rail kit too. Regulator you can try holley's but they have been known to fail. Mine never did for 2 years but others have. you can upgrade to the Kirban fuel pressure regulator for 85-87 grand national cars. Its billet and about 120 bucks or so. Fits the rails fine.

Do you have A link to the vortec fuel rail kit? Non adjustable regulator one is fine I'll later upgrade to that Kirban.

Never heard of that intake I'll look into it more.
