TPI FUEL RAIL ADVICE

What do you guys do for TPI fuel rails. I don't sell a lot of them, however, I just checked the price for a customer and they are $700. That is ridiculous.

I can custom make them for $350-400 as a direct stock replacment, or with a braided cross over for less.

Or you can buy them used on EBAY I guess.

When you guys need rails, what do you do? Is there an after market solution I just missed?

Where is the gap in the market? IS there a gap in the market? Should I look into custom fabricating these things?

Wondering if there is void here I can fill. I know, lots of questions.

Thanks.

You can find a ton of used ones on EBAY for less than $100, but I would probably pay what you said for a brand new one if I really wanted a new one.

If they are, no point in recreating the wheel.

I guess I'm asking if there is a market at $400. If so, I'll create them. If not... no point. I guess with the used availability there's no point of making them up.

Thanks for the insight.

Yes, fuel rails are cheap. But I'm talking with the cross overs from front to back, that seems to be the sticking point.

I was just shocked of the pricing for these as direct replacement. I'm starting to think maybe I got the wrong price from my warehouse.

Re: TPI FUEL RAIL ADVICE

I'll trade you three TPI rails with crossovers for a set of Stealth Ram rails.

One of the reasons why you don't see much of an aftermarket for the TPIs is that the rails are fairly easy to convert to "back feed" so it makes it a more difficult sell for a lot of people. They are also extruded rails already and have a large internal diameter.

YEP. That's what I said, but this one guy INSISTED on "factory style"...IDK...some people.

If it were me, I'd just put fittings at the end of the rails with braided line...there's lots of ways to skin a cat, but sometimes the customer wants what they want....go figure.
