No Crank issue

I have a 1989 GTA 5.7 tpi to fix up. Has not given me any problems starting at all until randomly when i went to start it there was 'no crank'. It happened right after we had a snow storm here. Its not a security issue, it was ripped out a while ago. I feel there could be an issue with connection to the starter. Does anybody have any input on what the problem could be?

Battery good? ( old batteries and cold weather don't go well together ).It takes more power to crank in cold weather so if battery tied ..........
Battery cable connections good both ends?
Does starter work if you hotwire it ?

If it does then you have a problem with wiring from key to starter solenoid

Re: No Crank issue

the battery is pretty new. I just put on new battery terminals and still no crank. I havent tried to hotwire it yet. I assume its either a connection problem or a issue with starter or solenoid.
