Hi, have an '85 TA with a 5.0 TPI...runs great except a slightly rough idle and an occasional stumble going uphill at freeway speeds at low RPM's. Anyway made a 200 mile trip on Sunday ran great as always then when I started it this morning the check eng light was on and it would not rev, sputtered badly. I shut it off, restarted it and the light was then off and it was running fine like before. I left it parked and drove my other car to work. I noticed some water had shot out of the tailpipes and they were still steaming a bit (on it's own that's not too weird). Any thoughts before I bring it in to my mechanic (I was going to anyway to deal with the idle/stumble issues)? Much thanks!

 

What's the code? Flash it out of the ECM.
