New TPI porting project for AFR heads.

I put up a few pics of a stock TPI base and plenum I'm porting for a member of TGO. Porting the base for a pair of AFR L98 195's. The plenum is ported for AS&M runners. Take a look!
This suckers gonna flow!

Very nice work. The results should be very interesting. It just so happens I have a long tube runner TPI project with the runner CSA being 60% larger than stock.

"Do you have any pictures I could see?"

Not at the moment. I am considering starting a new thread as I am making my own runners. I will be using the factory plenum and an Accel TPI base.

There will either be a custom cam made for the car or a cam already made by Comp Cams.

Lot of work there, any plans on flowing it with the head to see how its keeping up?

Easy to get a few dozen hours into one of those.

Nice, at least you can get everything out of the work you're doing.

Don't rule out Bullet or Crower cams either. Both great companies.

Don't get too wrapped in flow, more is not automatically better. Put it together right, and don't base it all on flow.

Good luck.

Dont know to much about Crower and Bullet cams. I know Comp cams have proven emission legal EFI cams so its a easier choice. But I will take suggestions if you have any. I'm just trying to build one hell of a TPI 3RD GEN Camaro!!

Oh, I will be running NOS at the drag strip

Bullet and Crower are two of the oldest, most respected cam manufacturers in racing. When you go to the track, lots of people are using them. Talk to them, the results won't be disappointing. Their pricing isn't bad either if I remember I paid $350 for a custom grind.
