car wont start

i just put a new battery in my 1991 z28 350 tpi then check engine light blinks and it just clicks.

Starter motor solenoid i would say.Try giving the rear starter motor a light tap with a hammer.Then try starting it.Check the connections from the battery to the starter motor and starter motor from solenoid.Check voltage from battery.Hope this helps

thanks thought it was the starter ill have to check it oout afrer i can move it i think it messed up because the passager side wheel got stuck in a whole

If its doing a clicking sound when trying to start it will be the solenoid tapping it will sometimes release and throw out the gear and crank the engine.quick way to check is run a wire from the battery to the throw out pole and see if it cranks.

just take a screw driver and cross the pos. stud to the little stud on the solenoid the that will tell you what you need to know about the starter
