Wiring harness help

i have a 350 TPI and dont have the harness and the 350 is in a 86'Trans-am that was originaly a TPI car, can u use a iroc-z tpi harness from ECM to bulk head complete harness with all sensors on a trans-am

ya should work battery and charcoal canister are on opposite sides though so you have to switch them around

so u would have to splice the battery and charcoal canister sensors and make them the length to fit

but what if i have a 1989 motor with out the 9th injector and the distributor is also different from the earlier models

You use a '89 prom in the computer ( same computer 86 - 89 )

There are wiring adapters available or you can make your own from junkyard parts to fit a remote coil dist into a HEI setup ;
or just get a HEI dist

can u use the '88 prom on the '89 motor ...i think ill stay with the remote coil ill just buy or get one from the junkyard

i also went to the jukyard and found a '85 trans-am tpi harness but was cut on the ecm side so i went to a '86 camaro tpi that had the connector for the ecm so i cut it so i can splice it with the '85 trans-am will this harness work with the '89 tpi 350 motor and ecm that i have or did i mess up
