Help stripped a FPR screw.
Somehow i managed to strip one of the Security T10 screws that hold the fuel pressure regulator down. ive looked at lowes and the only thing that i could find to remove the screw seemed to be too big to work.
Also, would anybody know where to get a new screw? ive searched both Home Depot and Lowes, as well as my local Ace hardware and it seems that no one carries these.
All help is appreciated.
Thanks

If its a factory part hit the junk yards, but I would think a specialty bolt house/hardware store would carry them.
As for removal. Thats fun. Not sure of this application, but I use a small drill bit and try and center it on the screw and drill into it, I gradually increase the bit sizes until I am near the threads, then patiently dig out the rest of the screw. If you didn't damage the threads run a tap thru them and install a new screw, if you phuked them up then you will have drill and tap the for next size up screw.

I did this too and it was a real bitch to find new ones. They're 3.5 mm and I found them at a hobby shop that sold RC car parts. They're 3mm allen heads now. I bought a bunch of them in the event the little shop went out of business. I'd be willing to send you some. The only thing is I had to cut them down, the shop only had 3.5x20 and the stock ones I believe are 3.5x15

A good hardware stose will have those same small metric allen heads screws that you get at the hobby shop. I was just at an ACE Hardware last week that had a large selection of allen head metric fasteners. You can use a left handed drill to remove the stripped screw. Look at an industrial tool supplier like Fastenal for the left handed bits. Generally the bit will catch on the screw and pull it right out.

whenever i strip a bolt..i get the dremel out and slice a line across it big enough for a good flat head screw driver and replace it once its out
