What to adjust first IAC-TPS

Just looking to confirm the order of adjustment. I'm pretty sure I would adjust the IAC first, then the TPS. If the idle screw has the TB 100% closed, Then I adjust the IAC as per the procedure. Then I move to adjust the TPS to .54. If I did the TPS adjustment first then IAC the idle screw would move the TPS reading and I'd have to correct it?

Adjust TPS first with the engine off, then the IAC with the engine running....

Remember that the fast idle on the throttle body came "capped" from the factory, so there is/was no reason to adjust the IAC first. Adjust the TPS first with the throttle blades closed, and engine off, then open it slowly to wot and check to make sure the reading is linear and not sporadic. If it's okay, then adjust your IAC....

I know what your saying about the factory TB adjustment screw being capped( I have an uncapped Holley TB). My point is if I adjust the TPS first to .54v. Then I put a jumper between A+B in the ALDL, wait 30 seconds disconnect the IAC, if I have to turn the TB screw to get to the desired idle RPM before reconnecting the IAC, this will effect the TPS voltage reading. By turning the screw it open/closes the TB blades. The shaft that the blades sit on go directly through the TB(from the screw on driver side to the TPS on passenger side) and would then move the TPS/setting off .54... So I'm thinking I'd have to go back and correct the TPS one last time to .54v. Make sense?

It will be within the threshold, whether it is reading .54v or .56v, you won't know the difference, because if you close the throttle blades in a stock like fashion (just closed to the point of opening), the adjustment isn't that significant. Your RPM's will be skewed if you don't set your TPS first when your trying to adjust your IAC, so either way there will be a problem. Adjust the TPS first to .54v, set your IAC, then check your TPS again. The difference will not be that significant, and you can always put it back to .54v if it slightly moved a bit anyway....
