need help with l98
i am having a problem with a l98 in a 89 corvette it runs fine for a min and then it will go to smothering it idles fine but will not take fuel fuel pressure is good and it is definatly a fuel related problem once the car starts its problem if you shut it off it will not start back on its own onless you prime it or let it set a couple hours i do not know where to start i am not a tpi guy i usually stick to lt1/ls1 engines

I'd change the fuel filter, check pulse w/a noid light, then ohm the injectors.

Also check the fuel pressure regulator. Could be bleeding down too fast.

fuel filter is new fuel pressure is good checked pulse of every injector they are good regulator is not bleeding off checked it idk what the problem is but it is some sensor or the ecm it sets no ses light i was thinking i might be the mass air but i have to put one on it as a guess
