its not really cheating but people will have different opinions... im not saying im right because there is no right answer.....but in my eyes and to me its cheating and a punk way to win.... if you HAVE to hide it so the other person cant see it, then yeah its kind of cheating given the impression that your car is slower than it really is and its just a really punk way of winning a race.. most people only use it when they start to loose the edge anyway at least from all the people ive seen down here... the power isnt there with you at all times and if thats the only way for you to all of a sudden catch up and beat someone then to me i consider it cheating.. i think of it like sterioids it gives you an underfair advantage for a small period of time instead of working at it you pop a pill and instantly become more powerful where people spend time training and working out to achieve the same goals.. i mean if you really re read some of his posts and here how he sounds boasting about nos this and i was off the bottle that, you tell me

Well with the right nitrous motor, they still are powerful on motor alone
Most motors made for supercharging/turbocharging wouldnt be near as strong without the boost. My motor is one of those. If I blow a coupler off the intake piping and loose boost, its an absolute DOG. It feels like a 14 sec car.....

....jeese....also no I dont pick all the fights just who ever wants to run and I was undefeated...my car runs damn good.
i might be sounding a little mean here and forgive me for this but after reading this thread i came to the conclusion that the original poster sounds really ridiculous... hate to break it to ya but your car is not that fast without nitrous... so your telling me it took you basic bolt ons and double the cylinders plus nos to talk bad about a 4 cylinder turbo car????? where im from many people consider it cheating and a poor way of getting easy power.....people laugh at guys who use nos and say they are big, as soon as you run out of nos then you back to the 260whp car. if you want REAL power then step up to a supercharger or turbocharger but dont boast how bad you are with nos because its another way of saying i have a weak car without nos to many people who live where im at... just about any performance car made today will run all over your car... granted my car isnt the fastest thing either but coming on here saying your chasing this and that and radars and crap makes you sound like a ten year old... (no joke) i mean if you read some of the things you wrote you really sound childish......
juice is not cheaten unless you -start to noticeable loose- then hit it

Wow... And I thought the F&F fanboys were gone considering street racing as died off so much here. If you wanna prove you're the better driver tell the scooby guy to meet you at the track. Equal conditions, no launch advantage from beeping a horn, all it is there is better driver/ better car > all. Who are you dude my dady?

Lol no Im not your daddy. I raise my kids with more common sense. It's called being a responsible adult and not putting other peoples life at risk just to win a race.

The way i see it i would rather have a turbo or a supercharged car then a nitrous car
turbo/supercharged = power all the time
nitrous car= power when you hit the button and just like 88fastgta said when you run out your back to a 260whp car if that and then you get spanked by all the turbo 4 cyl but thats my 2 cents

Here's an example.

Roughly 80 to 130 something run. Would have finished 5th and grabbed 6th but I was such a responsible person and got back down to about the speed limit for the school bus at the end, even though that was like 6:10 in the morning and there were no kids around.

Right time and place is 1 thing. But judging by the some of the sheer ignorance I've seen in his post I can see him zipping through traffic to win or chase down a car to race.

I'm an adult, I run them on the road. It's called the right place and the right time.

Around here the only real right time and place is the track. But I guess if you know an abandoned back road with no traffic ever and no kids/peds for miles... though I doubt any road like that would be in any good condition for traction lol.
