finishing 355build..need imput.

i have freshly redone 355. 10:1, comp cams grind number cs xe268h-10 thats .477intake .480exhaust with a 224intake and 231exhaust duration. 110 lobe separation and 106 centerline. I have a holley stealth ram intake/bbk 52mm throttle body with AFPR. Ran off of a speed density tpi. I have brand new 113 aluminum corvette heads with upgraded springs. My questions is should I opt for the 1.6 rockers over the 1.5's and should I use 30lb injectors over the 26lb. I'll more then likely buy from summit and 28's aren't available in my application.

I would think that with the stealth ram, you could certainly take advantage of more lift. Maybe 1.6's? ...bump those lift specs up to around 508/512

...and I doubt you'll need more than 26# injectors. You'd probably be fine with 22# or 24# pounders.

yeah with 1.6 rockers it should be close to the LT4 Hotcam...just a hair more durations... I'm told so many different things with the injectors I don't know what to think.

Well here are my thoughts on the injectors. Keep in mind I'm not an expert. The 355 for all intents and purposes is a 350. Same as stock. The Vette heads, unported are basically stock. The cam is by no means stock, but it ain't huge either. Just a little more duration than my ZZ4 cam, and assuming 1.6 lifters, just a few more thousanths of lift. Regardless of intake, if naturally aspirated, there's only so much air that engine is going to use, and therefore only so much fuel needed. I ran just fine on 22# with a stock tune, and had to retune for less fuel when I added the 24# SVO injectors (stockers died). Please don't make a final decision on my word, but I can't see needing that much injector.

I would go 30's myself, either way your going to need to burn a new chip for it and that what really matters.
