L98 TPI gasoline?

My engine is a L98 TPI recently rebuild. Just wondering what gasoline i should run in it? Ethenol free? 87? 89? 91? or 93? any suggestions or opinions?

93 if you have access to it. If not 91. Over 93 probably will not do much unless its a race motor. The factory even recommended premium on these cars. 93 is listed in my owners manual. You can run cheap stuff but expect reduced performance.

I have access to 93. I just didnt think i needed it. also its quite expensive. but i guess if its in the manual. lol

yeah, i have access to 93 as well, it is a bit pricey, regular works if you're tight on money, my tpi loves going through 93 though

Here in AZ 91 is all we have access to. In NM 90 is the highest you can get. I can only run 91 since that's all I can get. It's runs ok on it but my car ran a tenth quicker in the 1/4 with the 93.

Mine does not like the cheap stuff, runs happy on 93......350 TPI with a few bolt ons..

Look at it this way whats the price diffrence between reg and super .10 cents you pump 20 gallons thats a whole $2.00 more per tank think about it.

My Vett takes Super my Land rover takes super $2.00 more bucks to fill it per tank not going to break you it is get a Prius.

Mine runs good on 91 octane and I have steel shim head gaskets which are .015" thick my compression ratio is 10.5/1 with iron heads (stock ported L98).
