Resurrecting 89 350 tpi...
After my teen toy (89 Camaro Iroc 350, a4, 88k original miles) has been sitting for ~10 years (married, 4 kids, 5 moves, etc) it is time to get it running again.
I drained the tank, repaired the mouse chewed wires (injectors, wiper motor, couple other things) and have generally been checking things over to get them working. It was started every 6 - 12 months or so.
It won't start cold, but hit it with starting fluid and it starts right up and runs rough. Idles ok, but sluggish to accelerate, shakes and rattles, one of the injectors seems to be bad (it actually runs better with #8 (passenger nearest back of motor) unplugged.)
I'm planning on sea-foaming the gas tank and upper cylinder, hoping it clears it up.
Would it be best just to go ahead and order a set of Bosch III injectors since the factory injectors may be toast?
Any other "resurrection" things I need to look for? Yes I'm going to change oil ASAP, and tranny fluid / rear end fluid as soon as it gets moving.
Yes, if you're wondering, it's being sanded and prepped for painting.
