rebuilt 350 tpi - upgrades?
since i've gotten my 87 t/a about 8 years ago ive been dreaming and wishing for a decent priced 350 tpi in central jersey, finally found one, bought it, and now its in my shed awaiting installation when it warms up. while its outside the car and easy to work on, i'm thinking of trying to sqeeze a little more power out of it, im already thinking of doing a cam (still not sure what size) but i cant think of anything else that is difficult to do with the motor in. I'm not looking to make it super fast, just somewhat quicker. i already have headers and plan on getting new intake runners eventually but i cant think of anything else. any suggestions?
i'm not looking to spend a fortune either, just signed on my first house so money is going to be tight for a bit, but i'd like to enjoy the car this summer too......
thanks for any info!

Im doing the same build right now.
Did alot of research Crane Cam 2032 is the best for our cars. If you are keeping the stock heads like I did to save some money.
Port the upper intake, use SLP runners, and a good lower intake either the TPIS Big Mouth or the Edelbrock.
Headers and 3" exhaust all the way back.
Do that and change the Torque Converter to a 2200 stall and that should put you in the 13's... as long as you dont have a 2.72 rear if so id consider changing that as well...

i'll probably keep the stock torque converter. it does pretty well already and no i just changed out to 3.73's, and it already takes off good with the 305. i also have hooker headers on it already.
so i'll start saving for the cam and throw it in...if im lucky enough i can possibly save up for the cam and throw it in and have the motor in this summer....fingers crossed lol. cuz i can do the intake stuff whenever. ive already done the intake manifold gaskets once before and that was quite the job lol.
any suggestions on bigger fuel injectors while i'll have the intake apart?
