High idle when coming to a stop
Okay i got my injectors replaced and overall the car runs good now, but I notice when I come to a stop the idle seems high, and then after I'm stopped for maybe 4 or 5 seconds the rpms will drop down to normal. Also if I stop and put it in park it will jump up to 1k rpm for about 5 seconds, then drop to 500 or so.
I feel like this is putting unnecessary wear on my brakes. Or maybe it's normal?

IAC valve or if you disconnected the Throttle position Sensor when putting in new injectors, maybe needs to be re-calibrated....

Re: High idle when coming to a stop
The ecm keeps the rpm's up when coming to a stop, that is normal.
The jump by 1k when in gear seems excessive.
Did you ever get a chance to reset the minimum idle? (Now that you have the proper amount of fuel, it would be a good idea.)
Cheers

No, I never reset the idle.
The idle does eventually drop down to where it's supposed to be, it just takes a few seconds longer than other vehicles I have owned.
