I'm pretty sure this isn't going to be a simple or explainable problem, like most everything I've found half-assed on this car, but I'll ask anyway.

One of my fuel injector harness plugs is melted on top of the injector. Completely melted, the metal clip is locked into place by a blob of melted plastic. There's nothing hot near it. What could have caused this to happen?
