running rough suggestions please!!!
so i bought my 86 iroc 2 weeks ago and from what the previous owner told me is that it sat for 2-3 months and that owner before him had it garaged for 10 years. i brought it home and felt it was running rough had a hesitation when you pressed that gas so i figured it needed a tune up so i got ac delco plugs msd street fire wires and msd cap and rotor installed them today. Just took it for a short drive and its still doing the same thing with a slight popping coming from the exhaust manifold this might be happening cause i think its low on fuel.
My next thought is get a can of seafoam and put it in and see if it helps any and also go through and replace all the little worn and cracked vacuum lines. Other than that im at a lose any one have any ideas????

Check your fuel pressure regulator. Pull the vacume hose off it, and if it smells like gas it needs replaced. Also check the fuel injectors. They are nortorius for going bad in these cars. Make sure the bolts for the runners are tight. Mine were loose causing a massive vacume leak. Also see if there are any computer codes stored in it.

IF a code was set it should be stored in the computer unless it was cleared out. the regulator is under the upper intake in the back. Its a black circle with a vacume line coming out of it.
