On my 89 I ran a fused wire off of the IGN terminal (out of the fuse box) and down to a 2 pin weather pack connector for power and ground.
I hooked the other side of the connector to the 02sensor power and ground.
I clipped the old 02 the signal wire connecter off and put it on the new heated 02 signal wire so that can be hooked back into the factory harness just like stock.
I hope that makes sense..

Same here. You can grab the power from the fuel pump relay feed wire, and stick the ground wire on one of the screws that holds the relay bracket to the firewall. It's close to where the stock O2 wire ties into the harness, so you can run them all together and stick some loom on it to make it completely disappear.

Re: Heated O2 Sensor Installation

I'm about to do this install tomorrow and am having a tough time finding the right wire to tap into. In other threads I read about a pink/black wire, but in my wire loom there are 3 different pink/black wires and the only end I can find goes into the EST module. Any suggestions?

Like said above ,
the switched side of the pump relay which in the typical F-body pump wiring diagram shown below would be the
tan / white wire out of the pump relay connector (running to the pump )
Could also connect to switched side of the pump oil pressure switch , same difference

Did do a search, but the wording made it seem as though there should have been a pink/black wire in on my fuel pump relay...there is not, hence my question.

Ended up doing as TTOP 350 did and ran the power wire straight into an empty IGN slot in the fuse box. Thanks for the help anyway, vetteoz.

Re: Heated O2 Sensor Installation

Here is a link to how i wired my heated O2 4-wire sensor. I used my fan relay's 12v ignition switch wire.
