Car: 1977 nova rally
Engine: 89 tpi 305
Transmission: 700r4
CONFUSED!!!

okay long story short car has been running great now all of a sudden i try to start it and it just cranks and cranks but if i take a screwdriver and release some pressure from the shrader valve it fires right up then if it sits for an hour or so i have to do the same thing again

any advice would be helpful

check ur fuel pressure first and foremost.

thanks for the reply but yes that was the first thing i did its still at the same psi i put it at over a year ago but now for some reason it no longer does that it did it like three times that day and then stopped very weird

come to think of it ,theres a pressure release valve/vent back by your gas tank on drivers side. It may be bad. its white
