Governed at 110mph

so about a year ago I bought a 91 Z28 305 TPI, my second third gen and first V8. My first was a 1986 Camaro Sport Coupe with the 2.8 multi port injection.
I don't really understand the multi port injection from the tuned port injection but, I just found out my 91 Camaro TPI is governed at 110mph. Ok, I'm not you're fast and furious wanna be and constantly going as fast as possible but finding out that your car is governed so low is kinda depressing and really puts you down when it comes to sticking up for yourself on the roada. How do you take off the governor?

Re: Governed at 110mph

the programming tuning, and computer stuff I don't mess with myself. Where would I get that done? I imagine a regular car garage won't do it for legal reasons.

Tuned performance, the member above did it for me at a really nice price! It's easy as can be, you don't have to mess with anything. He can do it mate.

Re: Governed at 110mph

It is not removing a emission device like egr or the air system. you can buy a maotes.net adapter and I could sell you a reprogram chip if you really want to get around this.

Re: Governed at 110mph

if you had a toggle switch on the yellow wire going from the vss to the ecm on pin b10 of your ecm yes you can go faster but you would lose tcc lockup and speedometer and cruise functions.
