89 iroc idle and running problems

i just bought my iroc last night and cant keep it running it feels out of time kind of missing... New cap rotor wires and plugs, put a brand new iac, and checke the pressure at the rail it was pegged at 45... Could it still be my pump cause thats about all i have left right? Besides it not running it looks sexy as hell!haha... Any thing can help guys thanks!

Re: 89 iroc idle and running problems

fuel injectors are fine... I believe it jumped time here is why... It is hard to start it, it feels like its just got a miss when i drive it... And it wont go over like 35mph pedal to the floor? Am i wrong? So far ive changed cap, rotor, wires plugs, iac and have checked the ohms on my injectors... All read from 17 to 19... One does run 3 thow. When i say hard to start it goes... Womp....womp... womp then fires up and idles at 500 and goes up to 600 and then bounces rpms...

Re: 89 iroc idle and running problems

actually 19 ohm is a little on the high side. May have some issues with the coil. When you ohmed the injectors did you do it when they were cold and hot?

Check timing. Is it a MAF sensor car or MAP sensor? Check engine light on? Doubt it jumped timing.
