Re: Cars running Horribly again!

Just recently had the same symptoms with my IROC, turned out it was the MAF sensor, MAF sensor relay AND the burnoff sensor relay. total cost, doing it myself, was around $220 pictures of relays and sensor below.

my mechanic/buddy is a GM master tech AND a third gen owner, lol, he said they generally go bad at the same time as the MAF

Re: Cars running Horribly again!

take your intake plumbing off and spray throttle body cleaner in the intake, these cars are bad about carbon build up. Just follow the directions on the can.

Re: Cars running Horribly again!

Check your fuel pressure on the rails to see what you have when you first turn the key. I am not sure of the specs but that would be a great start. Fuel starvation will definitely make these motors run terrible.

Re: Cars running Horribly again!

Well out of no where i got a vats code so im putting a bypass in and then im going to replace the computer to eliminate that problem. Than im going to check fuel pressure and it cant be carbon buildup becuase i actually pulled the entire tpi system off and soaked it in simple green to break down all the carbon.
