I want to upgrade the heads in my 350 which has 305 heads. I have read a number on the head that read 14102187 and read on the back of the engine 5.7LC. I suppose that is telling me that I have 305 heads on a 350. I would like to upgrade the heads and didnt see the threads discussing the upgrades.

I want to see which heads are possible. Can I use a LT1 set on the L98? I dont suppose I can use the LS1. Which cars can I use for donors then? I would rather buy a used set. Later on I will probably upgrade the engine to LS1 anyway, so I will want to upgrade this one cheaper.

I have taken this car to the track and found that it had a trans problem. I ran it five times and ran in second gear after two runs. It ran good, however. It ran 14.35 first run and progressively worse then.
