Replacing intake manifold gaskets. Fuel rail??

I'm stuck. Do I need to remove the fuel rail to take off my intake? Car is already torn apart so idk how I'd depressurize the system

Re: Replacing intake manifold gaskets. Fuel rail??

to depressurize the system just pop the gas cap off, thats all I did.I just recently rebuilt my TPI motor and when taking it all apart I didn't remove the fuel rail.Just unhook the fuel lines and take the intake bolts out.But I would suggest doing it just to check out the injectors.
and its much easier to get to the center bolts on the intake with it out of the way...Hope this helps..If I've misled you in any way I'm truly sorry.
