fuel pump.(not getting any pressure)

... i have a 87 l98 5.7 camaro, i bought it off some guy that had it under a tree in his backyard all mest up.. well at first i was getting 35lbs on fuel release pressure gauge, so i replaced the fuel pump because i thought it was too low & was also told by NAPA auto parts that minimum should 70-100lbs. now i dont have any pressure at all. and cant seem to find the problem to it.. i do get spark, i replaced fuel relay, rechecked pump, replaced fuel filter.. i was told there are two wires that should go to possitive on battery for injector to turn on but i do not know which ones they are.. i do not know what else i can do to it inorder for me to get my fuel to come back up. any help would be helpful thanks

Should be around 45 psi (43.5 @ idle with reg vac line disconnected )

Have you confirmed the new pump is actually running?
Do you have any fuel flow at the engine?

I actually just finished taking it down again right now. It turns on once with the first turn on ignition switch after that it doesnt make any noise once i click ignition back and forth..

Exactly as it should;
the computer only turns it on for 2 sec to prime the system then turns it off until you crank the engine over
Pressure should hold and leak down slowly but even if it drops to zero should it come back up again as soon as you crank over

Do you have pressure when cranking the engine over? (How much)

Re: fuel pump.(not getting any pressure)

whip out the volt meter and ohm out the injectors, should be in the 14-18 ohm range to be good

Check the injector fuses
Should have 12V on one side of the injector plug ; key on
