Corvette TPI Valve Covers on 3rd Gen ?

Yes, I did a search...

Center bolt going on 91 305 TPI with center bolt...

Are these a simple switch?

Any holes, plugs, etc... that are different?

I know vette's had external EGR, but nor sure if this was dealt with via TPI base or heads / valve covers, etc...

Trying to find out before I get a set / freshen them up...

Thanks,

Rafael

I see no issues. The PCV and oil fill holes are in the same spots. Truth be told, I was looking for a set to polish and put on my engine about a year ago. Never got one tho.

Be aware they are magnesium , not alum
and a very rough casting once you have stripped off the thick factory paint used to fill all the holes in
Lots of work to hand polish ( can't machine polish because magnesium catches fire if it gets too hot ) and they need a clear coat once polished otherwise they lose the shine fast

How about some from an LT4? Had to drill a hole for the breather. Other than that, straight bolt on. But, ridiculously expensive.

I want them to match my TPI...

Yeah, everyone that I've talked to that polishes say they do not keep their shine... I read somewhere even after an hour... I asked about seals, powder coat, zoop seal, people have tried them all and no luck...

So now... I'm leaning towards having them cleaned up and chrome powder coating... as opposed to chrome.....

I Didn't know that. Good thing I gave up on the idea.

*GULP* Mine were even more as the LT4's are cast to fit roller rockers. And, there were less of them made.

Just an example. Ya the lt4 are diff. No drip rails inside to clear 1.6 rr's.
I got mine cheap well traded my aftermarket aluminum ones for these ones.

If I was to pay for them I would have for the canton fabbed aluminum ones and powder coated them black.
