91 L98 Crankcase Ventilation

My crankcase tube from the valve cover to throttle body is leaking slightly. Ive been looking around for a replacement with out much luck. I looked on hawks and came up with this http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/pr...-Assembly.html

can this work? I would just need to plug the hole on the throttle body right? I want to make sure going this route isn't going mess up anything up? The car hardly has any emission left to it anyway since i did my intake swap.

Not going to make a lot of difference on a MAP engine; it is not " metered air " going through that hose
to the engine like it is on a MAF engine.
You could even run a open breather in the valve cover , is only the air supply for the PCV system

Silicon hose makes for good replacements on those hard to find pieces as they are very pliable which allows bending without kinking. I've used a couple and worked great.

Re: 91 L98 Crankcase Ventilation

I replaced the grommet tonight, and so far no more leaks. So i believe this problem is fixed, 42062 i believe is the grommet i used. I was surprised when i pulled the original one out, its a lot longer than the replacement, but the dorman grommet seemed really tight as far as fitting goes compared to the worn out original.
