GSS294M vs GSS340M

Seems racetronix now offers this pump to replace the tried and true 340M. How does the 294 stack up to the 340M. I have the 340M now bit was looking at the aeromotive stealth unit as well. Its prob a walbro as most are rebranded and repackaged. Anyone been reserching this stuff?

The GSS294M is the same pump inside as the GSS340M with the exact same specs.
The AM pumps are not made by Walbro.
We now offer a 340LPH pump as well BUT the factory FL98 lines and wiring will NOT support it.

Re: GSS294M vs GSS340M

Thanks. I have a few questions for you in regards to my fuel system. I have the factory sender, but the feed is converted to teflon 6an feed all the way to the rails throught a fuel labs filter. Rails have been drilled out in the front factory feed to remove the restrictor that the factory feed went through and inhibits cross fuel flow to passenger rails. The feed now feeds through the cold start bung. Return is modifyed to right off the regulator base to a 6an teflon to the frame rail then the factory return line I upgraded one size up, thinking 3/8. Seeing the only stock pieces I still have are the sender and its wiring. Anything you offer to so I could use your 340 in my tank? Thank you for supporting this forum and our years.

You should remove the pulsator and taper on the sender's outlet pipe where it hooks up to the pump.

Additionally you must have these items to support the power requirements of our new RXP340M pump:

You will also require these parts to install the pump:

A -6 Teflon feed and 3/8" steel or Nylon return is fine for this pump's volume assuming you do not have any hidden restrictions in your system.
