volts at iac connector

book says a=.5v b=12v c=12v d=.5 . on mine though when i tested them c the green/wite stripe wire is .5 and d green/blk stripe wire is 12v? any ideas?

Being a stepper motor (bipolar, two coils), it can be any combination of the voltages between the green and the blue pairs. The green wires drive one coil with the blue wires driving the other coil.

It is square wave +12v to IAC coils(A hi&lo B hi&lo).
