maf vs map?

maf vs map?
my buddy gave me a tpi setup that came with no maf sensor , is there a way to tell the difference?

Difference in what?
You can run a MAP intake with MAF computer or a MAF intake with MAP computer so what setup
the intake came off originally is irrelevant
All TPI parts are the identical year for year ; a 90-92 MAP plenum has the MAP sensor shown below

TTOP350 did answer your original question in post #1 exactly. That type of answer means he's tired of reading between the lines to try and figure out what you want to know. The actual question you were asking was quite obviously "HOW can a MAF/MAP be identified?". He's taking a stand on demanding concise written english communication. Personally, I found all those 9th grade writing assignments extremely boring, but it turns out that clear communication without any unnecessary BS is actually quite useful. The little bit of time you spend organizing your thoughts will put you on the fast track to accessing the deep pool of knowledge available on this website.
