Code 42 issue

I just timed the engine. disconnected the tan/black wire, dialed it in, tightened everything up, reconnected tan/black wire, disconnected battery for a long time. Reconnected battery, started it up, runs like a champ, but I have a SES light that is flagging a code 42 (EST Monitor). Any ideas as to why it is doing this?? I sprayed the EST connector with some contact cleaner, no fix.

It idles like a champ, no hesitation, spits, sputters, nothing. Afraid to drive it "just in case".

Any input would be most appreciated. Thank you.

Re: Code 42 issue

I figured it out. Connector coming out of the back of the distributor fell out.
