Re: fuse next to battery ???

on my car there was a pigtail off of the + battery wire that powered the fuel pump relay. from what ive read there was a fuse inside the connection of the pigtail. my fuel pump went bad sitting during the swap so i just switched to a mech pump. i do remember that before i hooked up the pigtail i had no power on the orange wire of the relay however.

Re: fuse next to battery ???

The fuse near the battery is for your fuel pump. I have no idea why GM put it there instead of with the rest of the fuses.

Re: fuse next to battery ???

That fuse also supplies power to the MAF and to the ECM.
