305 bolt ons?

I have a 87 T/A with a 305 and just did a T56 swap and it now lost its get up and go im guessing because cuz it takes more power with the 6 speed to go so im trying to find bolt ons to help give it it's *** back and i dont have a whole lot of money to spend on it either thanks for your advice

What was in it before? You still have 2.73 rear gears? If so get some 3.73 and it will wake up.

In general exhaust mods, headers, air intake, tpi bolt on parts like manifold/runners, and a tune will pick up decent power

It's gonna take a bit for a stock 305 to get up and go with a t56. For now a cheap set of headers will do a tiny bit. Larger exhaust. Without diggin in the wallet it's gonna be tough lol.

Sorry For got to put what i have on it lol i have 2.73s for the only fact when i had the t5 i was getting 28mpg now im getting 15 i have 3inch flowmaster exhaust headman headers i have the iroc style air intake(as well has the whole front clip lol) and k&ns and run E3 spark plugs

That doesnt seem right. Change of trans by itself shouldnt cause that much of a loss in mileage

Thats what i was saying if anything i thought i would be getting for (extra gear lower rpms)
