Intake swap

Looking for a mild upgrade to solve the breathing problem cheap on my lb9. Will the Lt1 intake fit my 305 lb9 stock heads? And do I need new fuel rails? Any input? Looking at getting a 350, but in the meantime just gonna use a $30 lt1 craigslist intake if I can

Re: Intake swap

Sorry, I don't think it will fit. Heads are different design, as is water flow direction, so ports on the intake will not be a match.

Not a straight bolt on
It was a popular swap once but requires a lot of mods to do so.
For example where would you mount your dizzy?

Re: Intake swap

Yeah, I have a pair of .202 Vortec heads, but I have to wait until I get a 350, and I can use it then, what's the best stock intake manifold I can find that will fit the vortec heads? I ask because you can get the manifolds and fuel rails on Craig'slist for $30-$100 hahaha

The only stock Vortec intake is the truck TBI unit you wouldn't want.
Aftermarket intake only if you want a carb or MPFI for Vortec heads
