EGR Solenoid removed, bypassed.
Long story short, engine was rebuilt... failed emissions first time, passed second time with a new catalytic converter.
Yesterday I was setting the timing and happened to notice the EGR solenoid wire sitting loose on the intake, and the solenoid is gone. In place of the solenoid is a jumper. Either it was removed during the rebuild, or by the shop trying to get the car to pass.
No codes, and the car runs like a champ. Did some online reading, ordering a replacement.

I was wondering if you ended up getting a replacement egr solenoid? You probably already know that gm has discontinued this part.
By the way....nice car.
