one of my egr solenoid lines broke today. The one that goes under the throttle body to solenoid. I hear gm no longer makes them and ive looked all over the internet for them. Im wondering if I could maybe fab something up to work like that line. It broke at the throttlebody end. Do you guys know if I even need this line plugged into the T body?

 

You can use vacuum hose or check with tpi part.net or the classified section here. The tb fitting its hooked to is ported vacuum so if you want it to function yes you need a ported vacuum signal to the solenoid .

 

thanks. I may be able to repair the line that's broke with some work. This line is hard to find on for sale.
