Looking for a stock oem prom that isnt anything programmable or high performance, etc. Have a code 51 with a brand new ecm and the same prom, so assuming the prom is bad. All im finding is performance or programmable or used stuff on ebay. I would rather pay a bit more to have a new oem one than a used oem one.

Sort of new to the TPI engines and trying to get my 91 camaro running good again.

I have several memcal and maybe able to refurbish yours. I have only seen 2 memcals fail and they bolth had the same issue a prom bit flip so it actually lost a electrical charge and the hex data changed bye a value. I have tpi 305, 350 manual, automatic as well. If this is a 305 automatic the axxb is still available through amazon.

 

Ill have to surf amazon to see what i can find. Not 110% sure what im looking at when i find it even. Its a 305 automatic car. It has had a new ECM put in with the old prom and the problem still exists and i still have a code 51 which says either prom or ecm are bad. Like i said im not 110% sure whats what with the tpi prom stuff, but reading alot and trying to figure it out. Just want the car to run good because i have sold my truck and am going to be relying on this to drive me to work daily in a few days when the truck leaves.
